Aaaaah.  The infamous C48 resistor.  Lots of people break that little silver
drum off.  There are a number of them on the bottom of the logic board.  You
need to flex the case out when removing it from the chassis.

As for Paul's problems, I would say that if you are getting no chime,
something is wrong with the processor.  Remove and reseat the processor and
the RAM.
