Yeah, I had problems with my G4./400 upgrade card.  turns out I didn't fully
seat the G4/400 card in.  Need to hear that click.  Do try that long stick to
hit that Cuda switch.  I went thru a frustrating sequence doing that..after
about 10 iterations I got my 8500 to boot.
