  Yesss!

It Ka-chonghged. The processor card was loose. I also re-seated
every other plug-in card, DIMMs , SIMMs Cache and VRAM.

With or without the hd, no further action . The monitor flashed once
on startup, coincident with the Ka-chonghg, and I do not hear
anything from the floppy drive, when I tried starting up from that
with the hd disconnected.

I also tried starting from a CD. No luck with either the C-key or
with shift-option-command-delete.

The three-finger salute fails, as does the pram-zap, but the startup
button on the keyboard works. I can't think of anything els yet.

thnx for everything,

paul
