Hello, I'm new to this list so please pardon if this subject has been addressed before. I appreciate any help or suggestions that anyone could offer.
I am using a CrescendoPCI 400/512 in a PowerMac 7500 and am trying to get the ATI Radeon 7000 that I purchased to work properly with no success. My system is as listed below: PowerMac 7500 CresendoPCI G3 400/512 OS 9.1 (OpenGL 1.2.4, Quicktime 5.0.2) 256m RAM I have not installed OS 9.2 as the Sonnet website suggests that it is imcompatible with the Crescendo card. However, I have installed OpenGL 1.2.4, which I understand is needed, and installed the software drivers from the provided disk that came with the Radeon 7000. The card displays video, but there seems to be no acceleration taking place at all. In fact, Norton Utilities suggests that the Radeon card is no faster than the built-in Video on the 7500. Is there some problem or work-around for using this video card with the Crescendo? Thanks, Kent Wieland [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
