Don't give up yet. Which version of the software did you install? I installed
the first version 1.1.1, and nothing. I went to install the second version
2.07, but it said something about it not supporting the card since it
requires OS9.2.1, so I didn't install it. Last night, I installed it anyway.
Still no ATI control panel. So, I thought, "what the heck", and installed the
third and last update 2.10, and got the not suported because it's not 9.21,
but viola, the control panel showed up and everything worked. Hopefully
tonight, I'll do my usual real world testing of the card. I will say that
from what I've seen so far, it looks like the card is faster, but getting the
video to/from the card to the CPU and back is faster with built in video.

<< I did install software first, then the card as instructed, but then found
that I didn't have current enough OpenGL extensions (less than v1.2.2)
installed. I don't know if that might have goofed it up.

I'm going to try a clean install of the OS, software, and then the card as a
last attempt. If that doesn't work, the card goes to ebay...

getting tired of fooling with this thing,
Kent
