A suggestion would be to un-mount the drive but leave it connected, 
turn the power on, and try twisting it around the axis of rotation of 
the hard drive.   If the platters have become stuck, this might free 
them enough for them to spin up.   Obviously, you want to immediately 
pull all your data off and replace the drive.   No guarantees, but 
you never know.
