Get a tempo TRIO or what is it called ide card that has USB, ide and firewire - (compare the price with what only one scsidisk will coast) that can be useful at an artschool ? and the ide disk is so much cheaper I ran ph 6 with 166 mhz & 196 mb of ram and it was not extremely slow, nor sluggish when drawing - about 5% slower in opening windows and processing filthers and such compared with ph 4.0 on the same machine, the new ide will also improve (7200rpm) the working speed. I also think that a G3 upgrade would be enough - but that is a matter of taste, maybe a faster one is a good idea if you later will run 3d animation / bryce and metatools - rendering 3d shapes uses a lot of. kenta -- -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
