Sure, I can easily see the point. However, I've already noticed that some of the programs I'm looking at -- even games -- are not being made in OS X only. I'm sure that this will certainly be the trend of the future, especially since (I believe) new Macs no longer come with OS9. That being the case, I'd rather be able to by a program that will enable my 7500 to run both (if possible) or OSX only -- especially since there's no way I can afford a new machine.
