USENET is a major cull source.  The addresses I use there start
getting spam within 48 hours, and it increases and increases.

You should use a bogus address there.

I shouldn't have to spoof my address in friendly forums; it's considered rude.

Yea, it was a few years ago. But netiquette changes... :\

I'm not sure it would help at this point. As I mentioned, I've been using this email address and posting to Usenet for years--back into the mid-90's some time. Unless they only cull current postings and don't harvest the archives it wouldn't help. And if they do only cull current postings, well, I'm already on so many lists...


What we need is a psychotic rich person to get fed up with SPAM and start hiring private investigators and hit men...
