After reconfiguring my Mac external and internal disk systems, I added a Sonnet Tempo Trio with a Maxtor 120GB IDE drive. I then could not get the system to boot off any hard disk until I removed the Tempo Trio card from the system. Now the system boots just fine w/o any other changes.
With the Tempo Trio in, the system hangs just at the Smiling Mac screen. Does anyone have any clues or other comments about using the Tempo Trio with Mac OS 9.1?
What system have you added the Sonnet card to. Also, what do you have in other PCI slots. This sounds like some type of PCI slot conflict rather than a problem with OS 9.1.
