Dear Monique, I have a 6500 with a G3 400mhz Sonnet upgrade processor, 128 MB of RAM, and OS 9.1 on DSL connection. I have IE 5.1 and it is very stable. I also have an older version of Netscape & have not upgraded as several techs have advised me not to. They say the newer versions are too "buggy" and not advisable to bother with, so I have kept my 4.7. It is slow & I seldom use it. I downloaded Mozilla, but finally trashed it as I didn't like it much & seldom used it. I know there are other browsers out there, but I still find Internet Explorer faster & more usable than the others. Sherlock 2 is great for "finding" things & then I open them in IE.
