BTW, anyone know how to load NS quicker, say without the composer facility (for those of us who have separate email programs).

Yep, I have the same problem. I installed Netscape 4.7.9 with no problems and it ran very well on my PowerMac 6500/OS 9.2.2. The only thing is that I too wanted to get rid of everything but the browser part itself (there also are chat, email, etc. components). But it seemed that trashing stuff with unwanted labels such as "AIM" was not quite good enough. Sorta like using a meat cleaver for brain surgery.

I tried the removal process several times only to find there still were remnants around to create error messages telling me " so and so could not be opened because such and such could not be found". Either that or the browser itself would not function properly.

Netscape 4.7.9 seems perfectly suited for what I need. But, has anybody found how to get rid of the non-browser junk without creating problems?

Dave
