Hi all, This isn't exactly on topic, but I hope someone can help anyway. I just bought an Iomega Jaz drive (the original SCSI, 1Gb external unit) to use with my PM9600. I've received the drive, but can't test it out properly, as I don't yet have the appropriate cable to attach it to my Mac, or any disks. I tried plugging it in, but it doesn't seem to power on. Does this mean the drive is defective, or do I just I just need to connect it to a computer or insert a disk in order for it to operate? There doesn't seem to be any on/off switch on the device.
Any help at all would be appreciated as I only have a limited time to ask for my money back. Cheers, Adam. -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
