Installed iTunes 2.0.4 on a PTP 250 w/120 Gig ATA drive and 704 Megs of RAM. This system also has the original Gig raid running off an Adaptec 2940UW, the original 4x CD-ROM and a Yamaha 8424 SCSI internal CD-RW. Everything went well for about two weeks, no problems ripping, burning or adding files to the library. Then, on the last cut of a CD being ripped, the program froze. Now it will do everything perfectly except import music. There is no elapsed time legend in the header when import is selected, and the progress bar registers (just barely) before the program locks. A forced quit will work, but boosting the program's memory allocation failed to rectify the problem. I threw away the preferences and re-booted, but to no avail. Do I need to re-install the program?
