I would have to concur with that, sounds like some technologies are 
getting mixed. SCSI uses ID #s while it is IDE and its various flavors 
which use master/slave, primary/secondary designations. SCSI is present 
on a 7500, IDE is not. Also Macintosh computers have never had a BIOS, 
a Mac has a ROM but it is fundamentally different from a PC's BIOS 
memory.

Tell your bios you are running a Master-Slave so it will recognize it.
There is no possibility of a bios on a Mac and SCSI doesn't have
Master-Slave relationship
