Two hard drives can be designated as Master-Master or Master-Slave depending
on the computer bios and motherboard configuration. Most all computers in
the past six years will allow the dual configuration. However all older
computers like the Master-Slave configuration or the Mirrored Array. In a
Mirrored Array both drives act as one Master. What data is on one is written
on both. I strongly suspect you need to make one a master and one a slave.
AND tell your bios you are runing a master-slave set up.

HOWEVER, in a Mirrored Array, both drives need to be the same storage size
and sometimes even the same brand. It's not a job for the weak minded.

That said, I honestly don't think there is a weak mind in this group. You
people do things with your computers that is not in the books.
I would Master-Slave that puppy if it was me. Drop the drive name and model
number into your Google search engine to find the pin allotment for a slave
drive if it isn't printed on the back where you plugged the scsi cable in.
Tell your bios you are running a Master-Slave so it will recognize it.
