Forget the slave thing....its only for IDE drives, not scsi.  But you  
do need a seperate jumper setting for the scsi ID, which is 0 to 7.   
The jumper settings are drive specific, I believe, so you may have to  
mess around with it for a while.  Also, try DriveSetup instead of Disk  
First Aid.  It finds any drive connected to the Mac.
