Can anyone give me advice on this?
IF it was a scsi ID conflict, THE ENTIRE MACHINE would not startup at all - you'd get a blank screen and then nothing, or a blinking disketticon with a questionmark, can you hear that disk spin up at all when you start up ? if you put your ear close or disconnect the first one, can you ??
have you connected the powersupplychord and inserted it deep enough into the socket ?
and IF it is not formatted properly it wont show on the desktop, but then it should show in Mt everything (free download) or Norton, or some other mountingware. It can probably also be seen and formatted with some of the hacked versions of disk tool - or maybe disktool itself.
It can also be broken.
Good Luck
