We installed iTunes 2.0.4 just fine, and it works, except when it comes to

If you can't add or remove mp3s from the iPod, try using Greg's Browser <http://www.kaleidoscope.net/greg/browser.html>.

The "music" folder in the iPod is invisible. However, Greg's Browser has an option to make invisible files visible, and once visible, you can use Greg's Broiwser to manipulate files in that folder.

Of course, if the Mac doesn't even "see" the iPod, that's indicative of other problems, possibly with the FireWire card or the diverse extensions needed to make FireWire work.
