I'm going to try to get some memory today. I'm not sure if Fry's carries
memory for older Macs or what their pricing would be like but there are a
couple of places in Santa Clara (Ca) that have some new memory going for $25
& $28 for 64 MB DIMMS. Any feedback on either of these two:

MemoryX: http://www.memoryx.net/apl168b64.html

EXCELERATE (S.A. Technologies): http://www.satech.com/11449-0002.html

Given the convenience and barring any negative feedback I will try to get
something today so I can get moving on this project. Strange thing was I
was having dreams about installing memory and having success:) Must be some
kind of Mac affliction taking hold...

With regards to the G3 upgrade if Yellow Dog will work with it then I might
try that on another machine. I think my Brother-in-law might have some more
of these old Macs lying around and I'd like to do something with one to get
it on my home network as a web server or file server. Basically any excuse
getting one going so I can gain the experience working with Apples.

Regards,

Thomas
