Thanks for the info.  Is there a place for a second drive in the 5400?  If
so then that is the way to go for stability.

I took out my old manual from YDL 1.2.  Hopefully the instructions still
apply to your situation.  First of all, I suggest you re-install the
original HD along with the 5GB drive.  Install the Mac OS on the original HD
and YDL on the 5GB.
