Is there something I can do to OE to get it to use the RAM Disk?
Yes, trash IE5 and use Safari. No ram disk and it flies! :))

You my boy, but trashing IE 5 to use Safari would do him no good, cause he is trying to use Outlook Express with a RAM Disk, OE being an email app...I think you meant to tell him to trash OE and use Mail, no RAM disk as it flies too...
