Hi listers, I got my Sonnet Crescendo G4/800 about a month or so ago. Naturally, I was delighted with the performance improvement - in fact, recently, I got 9.1 and MacOSX 10.1.4 working beautifully using XPostFacto. This is where the story starts to change...
Accidentally, I got myself into a fix with XPostFacto such that I had to remove the system battery to clear the CMOS memory. Afterwards, I was able to get into the system, correct what I had misconfigured with XPostFacto and all of 8.6, 9.1 and 10.1.4 were working. So why am I whining now?
Does the Sonnet software install something in PRAM that needs to be re-installed now that you have cleared it?

If you don't do it excellently, don't do it at all. Because if
it's not excellent, it won't be profitable or fun, and if you're not in
business for fun or profit, what the hell are you doing there?"
