Great! I subscribe to a Mac list to read about how one guy finds Windows
doesn't need much work at the same time I'm getting e-mails from people tearing
their hair out trying to open one simple damn file on NT.

Despite what this poster (who has been using PC's "since Dos 3.3"!!!) says,
let me second what the original poster asked -- "How people survive on the
Windows side without an IT person or tech support is beyond me."

The fact that there are solitary individuals out there who have figured out
that needlessly arcane, confused and illogical OS does not make the latest
Windows systems either easy to install or easy to keep to keep running for the
mass of ordinary users.
