The user with the PC card must have had a good reason to try and load NT 4 on his system, probably for an application that doesn't have a mac version. I too have seen home users working on windows machines loaded with buggy shareware, crappy drivers, tons of p2p applications with their adware and tracking software, no AV software, and running on cheap crap components and full of dust bunnies. I have also been in work environments where you turn on your machine at 8am and run whatever software you need and it doesn't crash. There are also allot of in-between experiences, what do you expect from an open platform? Anyway I have 5 macs here 68k/early PCI , at least as many pc's and assorted amiga, Atari st, apple II, c128 etc equipment. Each system has its good points and bad point, same with the software they run. If your mac runs everything you need and doesn't crash be happy, some people have equipment and applications not available on the mac platform and have to go with windows, Unix, etc. There isn't a single computer platform for every need, just like there isn't a single political party in the world or a universal religion. -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
