I have given up trying to get my Canon printer to work on my FrankenMac, becasue the printer requires built-in USB and I have a USB card. Does anyone know of new USB printers that do NOT require built-in USB to run on older Macs?

System configuration:
8600/9600 Mother Board
xlr8G3/300Mhz
1.5GB RAM
36GB Fujitsu MXF3364LC HD/Adaptec AHA2940UW
Pioneer DR-U16S CD-ROM
Mediavis Reno CD-ROM
Entrega 89A USB card
External Iomega ZIP
Internal floppy
Internal Iomega JAZ

I've thought of replacing the USB card, but based on what I have read I don't think it will make a difference.
