This is what I got from Canon on using their USB printers with USB cards...

I suppose I could buy one and test it myself, but if it doesn't work??

Dear Joshua Yeidel,

Thank you for writing to us.

Unfortunately, Canon does not recommend connecting the printers to a
add-in card as it has not been tested. You can look at any current USB
printer however since they all will work on Mac OS 9.1 and have USB
ports. For further assistance, please call our Canon Presales
Department at 1(800)652-2666 between 8:00 am and midnight ET, 7 days.
The presales agents will assist you with product information and dealer
locations. For further information, please visit the Canon website at
http://www.usa.canon.com/html/index1.jsp.

Sincerely,

Phillip
