It seems that the two versions on my machine "see" their individual translator files as the list is much more extensive in ClarisWorks than in AppleWorks.
probably yes, but within claris apps you can share the spell check / language files
the only translator file I have (in the claris folder inside the systemfolder) is maclink plus bridge, the fileformat options are placed
in a folder named converters.
