Not a scam as far as can be determined. I know folks who have dumped US$10.00 or so into the website, selected their music and downloaded it. It's a few cents per downloaded megabyte.

The site is located in Russia, the website is a bit funky, but you can figure it out if you're not a complete doofus.

Not as large a selection as iTunes. Completely legal, per Russian laws. RIAA may not like it, but there's bugger all they can do about it right now.

Download LimeWire <http://www.limewire.com/english/content/home.shtml> and use the Gnutella P2P network.

You really DO need a fast PowerMac for this. It's a JAVA application.

If a G3 300 will work  it should be possible.
