Hi
I may be a little off on this, but if IIRC the 6360,54xx,55xx,64xx,65xx
use the same power supplies. The 63x,62xx,63xx use the same power supply.
While it is true that the 63x thru 62xx power supply will power the 6360
thru 65xx boards, the 6360 power has a higher wattage output because of the
PCI architecture. HTH
I would understand that but a bit of research shows that the power supply in a 630 (Apple part number 661-0170) outputs 86W and the 6360 p/s (Apple Part Number 661-1053) outputs 82W? So which would be "more powerful" ? Or is there a difference in voltages between the two? Like said - I have a 5400 logic board spare and would like to use it in a 630 - can I do that?
Regards, Boris
