It's not about that money! I myself don't use that cheap CD-Rs anymore: I
can get coasters from my habitual caf� for free. I pay 3 x your price and
I'm very happy with! No coasters and useable in any CD-drive, even in my
wife's car.
And agree, making a backup is no bad advice!
But again, also making backups is not the initial poster's question!
So I stay with my original advice: Put in a PCI-fastethernetcard and
transfer!
For backup: Keep that 6500 with fastethernet!
Not to speak about the troubles you can get dividing, in the right way, 12GB
of data AND applications over 17 or even more CDs.
Just MHO again!
