So, you mean burning at least 17 CDs is a better idea than simply using ethernet?? IMHO: A very bad advise!

$3.40 for the CD-Rs. And that method leaves you with a backup copy of the data. This may ultimately be slower than moving the data across ethernet. But ending up with a backup of your data is never bad advice, IMHO!
