G3/G4 Cache Profiler 1.5 from PowerLogix supposedly lets one turn the motherboard cache on and off. I can't verify that it works, since I removed the cache DIMM from my PTP when I put in the Sonnet G3/450 card.
For some reason, the successor to G3/G4 Cache Profiler, CPU Director ( version 1.5f6, at least), doesn't have that capability -- or maybe it just doesn't show that option when there's no cache on the motherboard! Anybody know anything about this? If anybody does want a copy of G3/G4 Cache Profiler 1.5, I can email it to you. - Aaron -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
