No, it doesn't.  Someone else mentioned that IE5.01 doesn't "like" png files, but I 
never had any problems
with png images before the installation of Fireworks.  IE4 cannot see png files 
without some 'plugin' or
windows update (can't recall which).  I also noticed that I cannot get to the windows 
update site now.  The
page never fully loads and when I click 'product updates' nothing happens.
