Hi again Clint, Microsoft in their Anti trust case said that IE was an
integral part of 98 and can not be separated. I got news for them !!
I've done it :-) the only difference is that they know how to do it
and I haven't a clue HOW I did it.!!! Its not a big deal as I use
Opera anyway. The only thing that is a small prob: is MS messenger, as
Opera opens up for emails there and they don't support Opera. For my
normal email I use PocoMail and am well satisfied with it. I am well
overdue for a fresh install of 98 anyway as I have messed with it for
the last 2 years or more. I have just to save/move some programs to
another partition and then move them back again after a fresh install.
At this stage I think this would be the best way to go. Thanks to all
for the input, and trouble taken by all, especially in these dark days
of sorrow. Best regards, Mike.
