I have been following this thread and still I am amazed at the lack of personal research that most list members do. It is as if "they" feel inferior when it comes to computers, but at the same time have no initiative to learn on their own. Linda Johnson is correct with her 2 because she is dependent on M$ products for a living. Gerry Boyd is completely correct because he is the "real deal" when it comes to computers and their use. It all boils down to what the h*ll a person is using a computer for and what they need to accomplish that activity. Personal computing habits are not developed without experimentation and personal research. Everyone has their own opinion about the subject. Outlook and Outlook Express are extremely vulnerable to Visual Basic Scripts that execute v*ral codes. Eudora in conjunction with a good personal firewall product and a competiive Antiv*rus Scanner product will protect you always but no matter what products you use, if you STILL insist on being reckless about email attachments, even Superman will not be able to save you. Here is a call out to all courageous Admins. Persuade your firms to adopt a private scheduling and calendar product and switch to Eudora or Pegasus Mail and v*ruses will all but disappear from the corporate forefront. If no one ever tries then corporate America will forever be "sheep". Now on the Personal side use "free products" for your email clients and Antiv*rus scanning. And most importantly MAKE SURE THAT ALL YOUR ATTACHMENTS ARE SCANNED FOR V*RUSES AND THAT IT IS A COMMUNICATION THAT YOU ARE EXPECTING AND RECOGNIZE THE SENDER. Now that was MY 2, for after all opinions are like buses, one comes along every 10 minutes going in different directions.
