Most of the members on this list know I usually give references with my 
statements. My opinions are usually based on fact, not just something I 
quote "off the top". The reason I mention Eudora and say stay away from 
Outlook is because MS just doesn't take security seriously. They keep 
patching their software instead of designing it properly in the first place.

If you take a quick peek at CERT (http://www.cert.org/) and do a check on 
"Outlook Express" in the search box, you will see some 493 hits. Most of 
these are advisories specifying vulnerabilities. Eudora on the other hand 
will only turn up about 20 hits.
