Yuck, Cough, Spit. Forget both of them, they cause more problems than they cure. If you want a brilliant av prog go for grisoft avg and its free. InoculateIT is also a good one, but its gone 'pay for' now. As to XP, you don't want it !!!! I have the pro version, its a pain and slooooooow. ok, I know it can be tweeked to get rid of a lot of rubbish. But why bother, 98se will do everything you could want and is quite stable if you've got it sorted out ok. I've tried 2000 also and was not impressed. Currently running 98se, 500amd, 256 ram and 38gig hd. Dual boot with xp. Not exactly state of the art, but does what I want, If it screws up, you may depend its some stupid thing I've done and no fault of the system, as some of my previous posts can attest to. God, I feel better now, having got that of my chest ;-) Thanks for the rant! Regards to all. Mike.
