As far as msdos.sys, you might want to go to: http://members.aol.com/axcel216/ and go to the section dealing with msdos.sys, which he covers IN DEPTH!! This has got to be one of THE best sites I have found dealing with many things about Dos and Windows. Of course, he cant cover all knowledge of these two subjects, BUT I think he is trying :-). Also, a nice set of references, if you can still find them, is Windows 98 Secrets and More Windows 98 Secrets - both by Brian Livingston and Davis Straub. Each has a CD of some nice programs for Win98. BUT, as you can tell, lists such as this one are some of THE best reference since we are all living with various and sundry issues on our systems, and need help for issues that the above books/site did not envision.
