My response 7 lines down since I'm a bottom poster...

But even for those impaired persons, the issue would seem to be more of a
problem of editing out un-needed portions, than it would be digging through
all the material or where you post.  If the portion is quoting what the
person is responding to, it really would make sense to have that small
portion at the top so the reader hits it first, telling them the specifics
of what the person is responding to. But having to delve through all the
other BS means that the person did not remove the unnecessary parts of the
email.
