You are about where I am. I haven't bought any new memory specifically for this board. I'm running a 2.4 at 250 with Corsair XMS 3500 at 5:4, 2,6,3,3, 2.7 volts. I also have a set of Corsair XMS low latency that runs the same settings. Both sets fail at about 230 and I've been looking at getting some PC4000 DDR 500 memory so I can run 1:1. Haven't decided on which brand yet. I did discover that mem test runs without errors if I disable Command Per Clock(CPC) in the Game accelerator settings. Don't know what Asus has in the bios. One of my problems has been figuring out what all these turbo and accelerator settings are actually doing. Even at these settings this is really a fast machine. In video conversion it is nearly 1/3 faster than a P4 3.06 at 553. Have you run the Sandra memory benchmarks on it? What did you get?
The blue screen you got is almost always memory. See http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;en-us;315335&; . That article refers specifically to installation but the messages are the same. Don't know why you don't have a dump file. It may be because you've moved the page file to another drive. Have you tried moving the location of the dump file to that drive? I'm starting to get in over my head here.
