The OCZ Gold is slightly faster, but its price does not justify the small performance gain. Either is best for 1:1 ratios, but for asynchronous operation there are other modules that are better suited. 1:1 is always most desirable. OCZ just released the PC4200EL which is currently the best bar none. Every time you make a change, run the benchmarks and compare them. Then you find out what the settings are doing. It may be because you've moved the page file to another drive. Have you tried moving the location of the dump file to that drive? I'm starting to get in over my head here.
