David, do you know if your ISP has made any changes with regards to their servers recently? My experience with dynamic DNS servers is not enjoyable.

What type of memory is installed in your computer, and who is the vendor?

Is the phone cord from your computer a single line or is it many smaller cables strung together? Do you have a splitter on the phone cord?

If you use a product like Aida32 you can usually detect what modem you have and who the vendor is, http://www.aida32.hu/aida32-download.php.

Peter, I downloaded my e-mail and prepared my comments, but when I was ready
to Send/Receive, there was no response. Again, the little modem icon shows
that all is well! I had to reboot in order to send this message.

I have a generic 56K modem.
