       I was going to do that yesterday, but a friend of mine got to it 
before me.  It's possible it's some kind of virus, but the info I read wasn't very 
sure.  The icon looks kind of like a shredder and a waste basket with an open 
floppy box next to it.

  If it keeps getting created, then it's obviously used by some program you 
have running > (if you're SURE you're clean of malware).

       I'm STILL running the anti-spy, which I started yesterday at 3:30 p.m. 
 23 hours later, it still hasn't found anything and is only about halfway 
through it's job.

  Also check your Start Up folder for anything that shouldn't be there.

       I think Ed, my techie, may have already done that Mon., but I'll look 
again.
