Your problems would probably go away if you upgraded to Acrobat 6.x. As we've been over before, Acrobat 4 has big-time problems, and it's five-year-old technology. Also what version of Quark and Distiller are you running with the lastest patch level? Are you trying to make these pdf's for a printer, if you are have you consulted with them on what you settings should be? They set up a virtual PS printer (my local and network printers apparently are not postscript printers) so I could get the distiller to run through that. I am still getting postcscript errors and they said that now I need to reinstall Distiller. Any idea where I can get that? I can't see how I can load just that alone from my Acrobat 4.0 installer disk and Adobe only has downloads in English up to 3.0. I am really getting frustrated and have been struggling with this issue for two weeks. Help!!
