This month's edition of the Rotaria, the English-language magazine of Rotary International, contains a group of black-and-white photographs by Sebastiao Salgado documenting the campaign to eradicate polio in the few third world nations where it still impacts many lifes.
The article note that "Salgado's work is heavily influenced by the "decisive moment" approach originated by French photographer Henri Cartier-Gresson - candid shots taken at the precise moment that defines a story or issue.
