I know that's how these spec sheets come out and show sensor sizes, but it's cumbersome to readily understand. 1.0" divided by 1.8" gives me a .555" (or about 14mm) sensor. Is that what you (they) meant? They ought to be able to get at lest 6 mb pixels from that... And, an xD memory card? I just learned about SD memory cards (used in the OptioS) and now I've got to look up xDs? > 2. compact D-SLR with 6M APS-sized sensor using K-mount and specially > designed wide-angle lens, equivalent to current competitors like Nikon D100 This seems logical and, if sensors are available, a practical approach. Nothing at all says the sensor has to be 35mm film frame size, just because you use 35mm (film size) lenses. > 3. professional foveon 10M 35mm full-frame D-SLR, probably an answer to 645 > users too > > We have been waiting for Pentax to roll out a D-SLR for some while but now > suddenly it is possible that three different prototype D-SLRs aiming for > different markets will roll out in the coming PMA?
