Let's see. I know that's how these spec sheets come out and show
sensor sizes, but it's cumbersome to readily understand. 1.0" divided
by 1.8" gives me a .555" (or about 14mm) sensor. Is that what you
(they) meant?
They ought to be able to get at lest 6 mb pixels from that...
And, an xD memory card? I just learned about SD memory cards (used in
the OptioS) and now I've got to look up xDs?

This seems logical and, if sensors are available, a practical approach.
Nothing at all says the sensor has to be 35mm film frame size, just
because you use 35mm (film size) lenses.
