If you can load film into a Leica,  you will have acquired a skill that
will last a lifetime.  I'm very good loading an M2 when I photograph a
wedding.  Piece of cake, as they say.
Yes, the later Canons, like the P, were good performers.  I like the Canon
VI-T (I think thats the designation)the one that has the rapid advance
lever underneath the base plate.  It's Canon's version of the Leicavit
advance
To complete my set of screw mount Leicas I need the Ig.
