I'm paranoid about reliability so my SOP will be to upload the images from the card to my laptop and then burn 2 CD's for each 512MB CF card. Yes, it will be more cumbersome, but it's all existing equipment and my card reader and CD writer use USB 2 and in the end I'll have 3 copies of every image I shoot. The integrated cd-writer/card-reader sounds like a great idea except that I'll still need a PC or something to make sure the images are on the cd and not corrupted, etc.
