Thanks Cotty, I'll try that first and see what happens. After all, I've
been very pleased with 8x10 prints from the Optio S using best quality
jpeg setting/

40?????

I shoot large/fine jpegs and get nearly 200 on a 512MB card, of which i
have 2. That's 400 shots in the field, plenty.

I tried RAW, but after careful comparing and consideration, especially
viewing RAW and jpeg originals side by side, there was so little
difference, it was almost unnoticeable on the screen, and completely
irrelevent on an inkjet print.

YMMV, but try it yourself - I think you'll soon switch to best quality
jpegs in the interest of space on the CF card :-)

Cheers,
  Cotty
